Generate your Nightwatch ELD API key
Your integration partner needs an API key from your Nightwatch ELD account. It takes about a minute. Follow these four steps inside your Nightwatch ELD portal.
Open Settings
Log into your Nightwatch ELD account. Click the Settings icon (gear) in the bottom-left of the sidebar.
Open API Key and click Create New
In Settings, click API Key under the Developer section. When the page opens, click Create New in the top-right.
Name the key
Enter a descriptive note (for example, your integration partner's name), then click Create.
Copy and share
The new key appears at the top of the list. Click the copy icon, then send the string to your integration partner. They'll add it to their X-API-Company-Key request header — that's all they need.
